The Mysterious Scholar

The Mysterious Scholar  is set in the 16th century when the Europeans first began coming to India by the sea routes. A mysterious guest at the court challenges the queen to find out where he comes from. This mysterious guest knows many languages (Portuguese, French, Spanish, German, etc.) and speaks them fluently. With a lot at stake for both parties involved, the audience is led to an interesting tale of how the queen and her nobles crack the mystery.
