Nalini: Hello and welcome to Travel and Learn Goa. My name is Nalini Elvino de Sousa. Travel and Learn is a podcast for travellers and language lovers.  Today’s podcast level is medium and  it is about Portuguese proverbs.

After listening to the dialogue, you are welcome to share with us some of your favorite Portuguese proverbs. Do write us back with the answer. Our email is: pm@ctngo.org

For those who have not listened to the earlier podcasts, we have started a competition “Qual é a tua profissão” on the third podcast. The first 3 listeners to get the write answer were Sabrina Couto from Algarve (Portugal), Sleeton Fernandes from Goa (India) and Mishona Cardozo also from Goa(India). The answer was: A Maria é professora.

On the fourth podcast the first 3 listeners to get the right answer were Zayaan Khan from Sharja, Arvind Fernandes from Goa (India) and Bianca Menezes from Oman. The answer was: O Pedro é piloto.

To find out who is ahead right now, visit our website: www.ctngo.org Under the language programs you will also find all the transcriptions of the podcasts and extra practice material connected to what we have spoken so far.

For this fifth podcast I invited two friends: Marina Nédio from Portugal who has been with us since the first podcast and Susana  Diniz from Macau.

Olá Marina!

Marina: Olá! Bom dia!

Nalini: Olá Susana!

Susana: Boa tarde Nalini e Marina.
